Vegas in Australia are protesting, chaining themselves to machines at meat-creating animal torturing facilities in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
I would like to give many thanks, much appreciation, it is not easy to do what they’ve done, their time, effort, enduring incarceration in the sake of helping and protecting animals from being viciously slaughtered in painful life & deaths at the hands of the meat industry.
As Richard Dawkins said: “I would like everybody to be a vegetarian… In 100 or 200 years time, we may look back on the way we treated animals today as something like we today look back on the way our forefathers treated slaves.”
As Leo Tolstoy said: “A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite.”
What a sad day for animal lovers and animal advocates. Today, January 29, 2016 British helicoptor pilot who was helping Tanzanian wildlife authorites find elephant poachers was gunned down by the poachers using AK-47’s. He was able to land near Serengeti National Park where he died of his gunshots/wounds before help arrived. Authorities said there is a manhunt for 3 of the poachers believed to be involved in the shooting and death of Mr. Gower. He was only 37 years of age.

PETA named Cyrus the “Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2015.” She cites an incident where her dog, Floyd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, was mauled by a coyote as the reason for becoming vegetarian. In June 2015, she posed nude for the cover of Paper Magazine with her pet pig, Pig Pig. Her instagram and Facebook pages contain numerous posts relating to animal rights and plant-based diets.
Also in 2015, Cyrus was listed as one of the nine runners-up for The Advocate’s Person of the Year.
Some of the lyrics to songs on Cyrus’ 2015 Dead Petz album reference Tibetan Buddhism, for example, The milky, milky milk / Your lips get me so wet / While I’m singing all the verses from the Tibetan Book of the Dead
Seen this little adorable cutie pie Norbert The Dog on Facebook today. I had to make a post and spread the word/pic/video of this little high-fiving lil doggy. He’s such a cutie I’m sure you’ll all get a smile when seeing his face.
Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo has a lot of beautiful & endangered animals. The true heroes are there, in ranger uniform gaurding these endangered mountain gorillas. Men like Jean Claude Kiza Vunabandi who was killed on October 25th, 2015, and 100’s more rangers there who’ve been killed defending these beautiful innocent animals in the past years.
If you get the chance, watch the 2014 documentary “Virunga”, the films motto is awesome! It is “Conservation is war”.
